Hi there, so I'm pretty new to this all and I keep reading the directions on how to get these scripts into gimp and working but seem to fail at it every time. How exactly do you get scripts from here into gimp? I can't seem to do all the steps listed.
Is there a step by step somewhere on this forum? I currently have Gimp 2.10.6. And have been trying to figure out the mystery of these scripts into gimp, as I don't have all the options it says.
Hello @airuhlagertha ,
Welcome to the forum.
Please follow the "How to install .py scripts/plug-ins" step by step instructions for .py plug-ins/scripts.
Just search for it or you'll find it 2nd topic down in this subforum.
I can't copy and paste the link for you right now because I have a script running and it's constantly copying and pasting images so my copy and paste doesn't work.
Similarly, there is a How to install scheme scripts (.scm files) topic pinned under the Scheme Scripts subforum as well. Please read that if you're trying install scheme files (.scm files).
If you can find where your GIMP's scripts/ and plug-ins/ folders are located, you can open up GIMP, go to Edit>Preferences>Folders>Plug-ins for a list of currently active /plug-ins/ folders and Edit>Preferences>Folders>Scripts for a list of currently active /scripts/ folders where you can find out where they are and/or add your own folders.
Noone, a guest, found a site that has Arakne Path Shape Creator 8 that works in 2.10.8. I tested it with my win 10/64 computer and Gimp 2.10.8 Samj ver.2 programs. It worked very well.

I've tried Fence Post's denim scheme script, but it gives me errors. Is it possible to update it to a python fu plugin? I had brought the plugin to light on Gimpchat and I was told to edit the scheme script. However, I have no clue where to start if I were to update it.
